For physical deliveries, Claris International, Inc. uses the best carriers in the business to make sure your order gets to you on time. Shortly after you place your order, you will receive an Order Acknowledgement email to confirm your order details. Once your order has shipped, you will receive a Shipment Notification email with carrier and tracking information.

The shipping times given include up to two business days of processing time before the shipment leaves the warehouse. Note: North American Orders placed after 12:00 PM PST will be processed the next business day. No shipments can be made to a PO Box address.

Products shipped to Canada may be delayed due to customs clearance. FedEx International will collect the appropriate customs. For an accurate estimate, it's recommended to check with FedEx International.

With the exception of the FileMaker Training Series Book / DVD, deliveries to Australia and New Zealand are free of charge. Purchases of boxed products, CDs/DVDs, books and/or manuals are shipped to countries outside the European Union include a customs declaration. The customs declaration lists the contents of the package and its value. When the package arrives in your country, it is likely that your local customs or shipping company will charge you “duty” and other import costs. Generally, the shipping company will not release or deliver the package until any outstanding charges are paid by the purchaser. As the purchaser, these charges are your responsibility.

The Return & Refund Policy at FileMaker (now known as Claris) is as follows:

If a customer is not satisfied with a FileMaker product purchase, excluding volume license purchases and purchases of the FileMaker Cloud service, they can contact Customer Support for a Return Material Authorization (RMA) request within 14 calendar days of the receipt of the product. The product must be returned to the Claris order center within 14 calendar days of the issuance of the RMA. All physical products must be packed in the original, unmarked packaging including any accessories, manuals and documentation that shipped with the product.

If the item is returned unopened in the original box, an exchange or a refund based on the original method of payment excluding any shipping charges will be offered. If the product was delivered via Electronic Software Download, then the customer is required to complete and return Claris’s Letter of Destruction or complete the Confirmation of Destruction process.

A refund will be processed within 3-6 weeks of receipt of the product at Claris and completion of the destruction process.

Please note that this policy applies only to end user customers and FileMaker Business Alliance members. It does not apply to volume license purchases and purchases of the FileMaker Cloud service.
